Welcome to Athens Neurological Associates (ANA).  ANA has been privileged to bring high quality neurological care to the 'Classic City' and surrounding Northeast Georgia communities since 1978.  Since our relocation in 2000 to our state-of-the-art 13,500 square foot clinic, we are located at 1088 A Baxter Street in the heart of Athens.  Our seven BC/BE Neurologists and three Nurse Practitioners are able to rapidly evaluate and treat the most complex of brain and spinal disorders.

As a large clinic with close to 30,000 active patient charts, we also recognize the need to balance comprehensive yet personalized care with good continuity and provide this level of service with 40-plus support staff.  Each physician works with a primary nurse to be your advocate so that you may successfully navigate the healthcare and insurance maze.  Through our partnership with Athens Regional Medical Center (ARMC) our physicians provide patients of Athens Neurological Associates with emergency care coverage 24hours/7days a week.
At ANA, our physicians have come together from a diverse background of subspecialty training spanning the country from Baltimore to San Francisco.  We can provide state-of-the-art care for the gamut of common and uncommon neurological disorders.  We treat patients from all stages of life from pediatrics all the way through geriatrics.  Diseases we commonly treat include but are not limited to cerebrovascular disease/stroke, headache/migraine, epilepsy, sleep disorders, movement disorders/Parkinson's, dystonias, dementia/Alzheimer's, attention-deficit disorder (ADD), neuromuscular disease, peripheral neuropathy, neuroimmunological disease/multiple sclerosis and spinal disease.
